TOBY comes from a background of formal training in Engineering Management and has been project managing large scale turnkey construction projects, internationally, for over 20 years primarily in Oil & Gas, Military, and Commercial Construction. Most of these projects have been in traditionally difficult locations such as poorly developed countries, politically instable or sensitive and even war-torn or hostile environments.
Toby was a founding Director of one of the largest non-American, US Military Contractors of the last two decades. As Operations Director, he was significantly involved in the oversight, bidding, and project management of more than US$2bn of Construction and O&M contracts. Having developed much of his career as a contractor, he is particularly knowledgeable in how clients can effectively assure the quality of projects performed by their contractors. As an experienced problem solver driving logistical and engineering solutions, Toby recognises the core of a business's issues and risks and tactfully advises its leadership on, not only, what steps are needed, but also on how to take those steps.
Toby holds a Masters Degree in Engineering and Engineering Management (MEng) from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
